Experience Highlights
Freelance / Session Musician
From sacred spaces to national stages, Naomi’s trombone and voice move between worlds — jazz, salsa, hip-hop, and the ever-evolving soundscape of contemporary music. As a freelance and session musician, she has built a career defined by versatility, collaboration, and a deep connection to rhythm and story.
Naomi has performed across the country, from intimate community venues to televised appearances on CBS, CNN, and WTXL ABC 27. Her video credits include featured performances in 2 Chainz ft. Lil Wayne’s “Money Maker” (Def Jam Recordings, 2020) and Enrique Iglesias’ “Chasing the Sun.”
In New York, she continues to explore the intersections of culture and sound. She performs with Lulada Club, New York City’s first all-women’s salsa orchestra, and with them has collaborated with the Metropolitan Opera in Creatures of Myth: Reimagining Orpheus. Her work with Jazz at Lincoln Center includes performing in the WEBOP Latin Jazz Show and the groundbreaking production Passing the Crown, a performance honoring legacy and womanhood featuring MC Lyte, Rapsody, and an ensemble of visionary artists.
Offstage, Naomi records and produces brass and vocal works in professional studios and contracts musicians for live performances that celebrate diversity, artistry, and community. Each project reflects her belief that music is both a vessel for spirit and a bridge between worlds.
